Yes. Our devices are FDA-approved and emit zero harmful UV rays. Unlike tanning beds, red light does not damage the skin. We also ensure our machines are tested for safe EMF levels to provide a clean healing environment.
When paired with a therapeutic service (Massage, Chiro, Physio, or Acupuncture), we issue a receipt for that discipline. These are typically covered by most extended health plans.
Yes! At the moment, you can add red light to select acupuncture sessions. Please inquire with front desk or check out the options here.
While many clients feel immediate muscle relaxation and a “mood boost” after one session, long-term results—like skin rejuvenation or chronic pain relief—typically require 2–3 sessions per week for 4 to 12 weeks.
For the best results, the light should shine directly onto your skin without being blocked by fabric. You may wear loose clothing, a tank top, or shorts. Note that the light does not need to physically touch your body; it just needs a clear path to the treatment area. For sanitary purposes, undergarments must be kept on at all times.
While the light is safe, the LEDs are very bright. We provide specialized goggles for your comfort, though many clients simply enjoy the session with their eyes closed to soak up the “recharge.”
Side effects are rare. Because the light stimulates cellular energy, a small number of people may feel a temporary mild headache or “energized” feeling (similar to a caffeine buzz) if they do a very long session. We follow clinical timing protocols to prevent “over-treatment.”
